          Snowboarding

 

  Snowboarding is a fun winter sport. You can do stunts when you snowboard like flips and jumps.  Here are some famous tricks front side 180 and back side 180.To play you need to wear good equipment such as ski goggles to protect their eyes from snow being blown in the snowboarders face, special boots that clip on to the board and thick , soft  , warm jackets are needed to keep the snowboarder warm.

      When you snowboard, you race down a mountain/hill as fast as you can. You may do stunts while racing down.

     A lot of snowboarders wear extra equipment for safety reasons.  Snowboarding can be dangerous if you don’t use the board properly.

       Snowboarding started in the U.S.A. It has been around since the 1920’s. It became an Olympic sport in 1998. The inventors of snowboards are Chuck Barfoot and Tom Sims. In 2002 competitive snowboarders went on tour.

      People love snowboarding because it’s like surfng except you’re on snow not water.

      A snowboard looks like a very long board with bindings that strap to boots to hold the snowboarder in place.  Snowboarding is a sport that anyone can play. It’s simple and independent meaning if you’re alone you can play.

 

 

    To snowboard you need a mountain, a snowboard and winter clothing (hat, gloves, goggles, jacket, snow pants and a scarf). Snowboards come in a variety of colors and designs.            Snowboarding is a fun winter sport that will go on for a long time it is a world-wide sport and it is very popular.
